The chances are when you stop by a college party you’ll find two things, kegs and the garbage can of mystery drink/ jungle juice. However, this year when you’re throwing you annual or well weekly bash, we suggest straying away from the typical tub of mystery red or blue drink and try something new. Hop Skip and Go Naked or Skippy’s (for short) is a different twist on the mixed drink. It incorporates the best of both worlds by using beer and liquor. Upon visiting West Virginia University, we were told about this campus favorite concoction and it is definitely a hit.
HOW TO MAKE IT

You’ll need:
- 1-30 pack of light beer( whatever is the cheapest or what you’ve got on hand)
- 1-Container of Country Time Pink Lemonade Powder
- 1 Handle of vodka (whatever you prefer, Usually something cheap)
- Ice
Pour all ingredients into a cooler ( I suggest one of those giant gatoraide coolers) and stir until thoroughly mixed. Then Enjoy!

WHEN TO DRINK IT
Like previously mentioned: Skippy’s is a great alternative to jungle juice. It will be a pleasant surprise to your guest to find something other than another tub of jungle juice. Not only are Skippy’s great for a house party, but they are also perfect for a summer night chilling at the beach or on the back patio. They can be easily scaled down to make a few or a lot. There easy to throw together since they don’t have a lot of ingredients and the instructions are fairly simple. Plus there is a high change that you’ve probably got beer and vodka in the house. So when you planning your next large get together or just a simple summer bash try the jungle juice alternative and Hop, Skip and Go NAKED.

WHEN NOT TO DRINK IT
If you are planning a more classy affair, I’d suggest you skip these. Skippy’s pack a decent punch, so unless you are looking to get a little sloppy then stay clear. If you want a little something that you can sit back relax and can take the worries away, I’d pick a beer or maybe even a glass of wine. This one is for the more serious party-goer, so if it’s one of the night you decide to take off, stay away from this one.
