Why You Should Watch it:
You’re a college guy. You simply need to know sports. We want you to be a
ladies man and a guy’s guy, which would leave everybody singing your
praises. You’ll need to know sports when mingling with prospective
wingmen, and also to hold you own when a group of guys decide to talk
about sports as a way to measure dicks (not literally). Besides, we don’t
want you thinking of dragons when you hear the term “fantasy” league.
What it is:
The best sports recap show period. In one hour, Sportcenter does a recap
and brief summary of all of the highlights within the world of sports.
Within a week, you’ll be more sports savvy than you can imagine. Aside
from keeping you up to date with sports, the show is actually pretty
funny. Aside from quoting movies like Anchorman (italics) and having the
news anchors make fun of each other in the middle of the segment, it’s
enough to keep you informed and entertained for the mere one hour.
When is it on:
Sportscenter is consistently rotated into the ESPN schedule. In other
words, depending on where you are from, just check ESPN occasionally and
see if SportsCenter is on. Whether you have 10 minutes or the full hour,
consider the time watching it a good investment.
Consider this an outfield assist, a touch-down pass, or an alley-oop. Nonetheless, it’s just us giving you a small push saying that this is a show you better be watching.
