If you are new to college life and want to get a taste of what it is all really about, then you will have to know how to get invited to all of the epic college parties that happen on weekends. Having fun is part of the whole experience; it’s about drinking a little too much, hanging out with friends, and picking up girls. In order to be a part of it all you will need to know how to act and also how to make friends who can get you into these kinds of parties, because not just everyone is invited.

When you are in your classes, make sure to look out for the guy who looks like he can pick up any girl or fit in to any given situation, because he is going to be the one who gets you into these parties. Once you make a friend that has access to awesome parties filled with hot girls and kegs galore, you will need to look at everything from your appearance to your overall attitude, because it all matters. Typically when you see guys who get invited to big parties, they dress and act a certain way. If your style is a year or two behind where it should be in terms of cloths, you will want to correct that as soon as possible.

Sometimes you will get invited to an epic college party by a girl if you play your cards right. You have to be confident, because the more confidence you have the more attractive you will become. It’s all about your attitude, so make sure it is a positive one. You don’t have to act like a douche bag and make it seem like everything is about you, but you should still evoke confidence and self-esteem by the way you carry yourself. People who wear self doubt on the outside never get invited to cool parties, so always keep that in mind when trying to live it up while you are in college.

Treating a Hangover

After a hard night of partying it’s important that you know how to take care of a killer hangover. There are many different ways of doing this, and most of them work fairly well, although it depends on how bad the hangover is and what you had to drink. One of the most important things to do when you have a hangover is to avoid drinking anything with caffeine, such as soda or coffee. This will only keep you up and make your headache worse. While one cup of coffee may help a little bit, you will want to avoid caffeine altogether if you get a hangover.

Another thing to do is sleep as much as possible. Chances are if you have stayed up the whole night partying you are going to sleep for a while, and it’s best to do so as much as possible. Even if you still wake up with a hangover, you will feel a lot better with a full nights sleep. Drinking plenty of water and various sports drinks like Gatorade can also help. They have electrolytes in them which are good for hydrating the body and they can take the edge of a morning hangover.

If you have a nasty hangover you can also taking a cold shower with either hot or cold water. It will wake you up a little bit and get you moving if you have to be to class or work soon. Eating foods which have lots of minerals in them like fish or pickles can help, so you will definitely want to try that. Although a lot of people take over-the-counter medications like Ibuprofen or Tylenol, they can come with negative side-effects and even make your hangover worse, so be careful. Taking too much of one of these can be dangerous as well, so make sure you read the label of whatever you are taking for a hangover headache.

How to Throw a Killer Tailgate

Knowing how to throw a killer college tailgate is absolutely critical if you want everyone to have an awesome time. Having a grill going is one thing that you absolutely cannot do without. You will of course need all the necessary tableware as well as grilling tools. Throw a few hotdogs and hamburgers on and you’re halfway there. You will also want to have plenty to drink at your tailgate, so get a nice big cooler full of beer. Seating will be another issue that you will want to consider. You can bring everything from lawn chairs to home furniture to your tailgate. It’s not uncommon to see sofas and recliners out in a campus parking lot at a tailgate party.

Make sure that you have all the food and drinks you are going to have at the tailgate decided on beforehand. You will definitely need to have beer, and you might want to think about packing in different kinds into the cooler you have, so everyone will have something they like there. Including non-alcoholic drinks like soda can also be a good idea for anyone who can’t drink at the tailgate.

If your tailgate consists of watching the football game, then you will definitely want to get into the spirit of things and paint your face or numbers on your stomach. The more into it you and your friends get, the better of a time you will all have when everything is said and done. You could even hold a content to see who the craziest fan is; whoever has the most body paint on wins. Drinking games like beer pong might be difficult to do at a tailgate, but you should try to think of some others that might be possible so you can have even more fun while drinking.

There are certain characteristics that the campus playboy has that nobody else can beat. The first one is that he is willing to go to any lengths necessary to get laid or have a good time. This means throwing parties or inviting himself whenever necessary. Whenever there is a killer party going on, you can be sure that he will be there. He can turn any situation around in his favor at any moment because he’s just that good.

Biggest Mistakes to Avoid When Choosing a Major

There are quite a few mistakes that you can make when going into college. On average college students change their major 4 times within the first year. One of the biggest mistakes you can make is to start majoring in something because it seems easy. Usually when you follow this logic you’re dead wrong. Also choosing a certain major because you think it will make you a lot of money is a bad idea, because most people who do that just end up quitting and choosing something else. There’s nothing wrong with exploring your options, but at the same time you have to realize how to make good decisions.

A lot of freshmen make the mistake of thinking that the major they choose in college will determine what type of work they do for the rest of their lives. Many people end up with jobs that don’t even relate to what there major was in college 10 years or so after graduation. It’s not necessarily what you will be doing years from now, so don’t make the mistake of thinking that going in.

New college students also tend to think that by getting general education requirements out of the way first it will be easier later on. Not all general education credits will apply to your major, so you have to be extra careful when choosing what it will be. Only take classes that are required and relate to what you are majoring in, so you won’t waste your time with any unnecessary classes.

The last thing you want is to spend time and money on something that doesn’t even matter in the end, so educate yourself before picking certain classes. Also make sure that you know which classes you need to take for your major. If the one you are interested in requires a lot of math and you aren’t very good at it, then you might want to pick something else.

Everyone wants to get in shape without having to do any actual work, and there are some ways that you can do that. If you are in college then chances are you already walk around quite a bit. By just walking to class you’ll be able to burn off some of those calories from fast food and snacks that you much on inside your dorm. Taking the stairs to get to class instead of an elevator is another good idea. It’s not much extra work to hop up a flight or two of stairs and it can do great things for your body if you do it on a regular basis.

Diet supplements are another good way to lose weight and stay trim without having to do anything, including changing what you eat. You will be able to be lazy as hell and still burn calories like you are running a marathon. The key to getting in shape with dietary supplements is to choose the right one though, because there are a lot of scams out there which are designed just to get your money. If you want to get in shape without working on, then you can also try focusing on what you eat.

College students are known for eating nothing but convenience foods that you can stuff in the microwave and heat up, but if you start cooking actual meals once in a while it can help to keep you fit. It also helps to snack on fruits and vegetables instead of chips and candy. Drinking lots of water is another way to make sure you don’t put on any extra weight, because consuming a lot of soda can make you feel and look bloated. Chances are there are a number of vending machines that sell water or even drinking fountains you can use to fill empty bottles with. Take advantage of both those to stay in shape without working on a single day.

Getting in Shape Before the Fall Semester

Knowing the best ways to get in shape before the Fall semester starts is crucial for both guys and girls. Getting in shape boosts self-esteem and it also makes you more attractive to other people on campus. If the school you’re going to has a gym, then it’s highly recommended that you take full advantage of it. You will want to mix cardio workouts with weight lifting to get really get into shape. Guys who want to get ripped and have six pack abs will definitely want to hit the weight room and start benching. The more you do it the better your body will look by the beginning of the new semester.

Of course what you eat also can make a difference in terms of how you look, so you will want to lay off the snack foods and sweets until you start seeing your progress. College students are notorious for munching down on lots of sugary fattening convenience food like bags of chips or McDonald’s. If you really want to get in shape, then you must avoid eating these kinds of things until the beginning of the Fall semester.

Try running around your neighborhood each morning; it’s a great way to burn off calories and also increase your energy for the day.
