Having Fun in College While Still Getting Good Grades

A lot of college students have a problem with keeping their grades up because they like to party a little bit too much. When you realize just how important it is to pass certain courses and move on to the next year, you start to party a little bit less your sophomore and junior year. The fact is that you will still be able to party hard on weekends and get wasted without having it affect your grades or academics at all.

It’s all About Balance

It’s all just a matter of being able to balance everything and still do well in school. When you limit hardcore partying to just weekends, you will find that it will really help out your grades a lot. Having designated study periods is going to be one of the most important things ever, so you will have a certain time when you need to hit the books.

Where most freshman go wrong is they don’t set aside specific times for studying and keep putting it off. All college students procrastinate a little bit, but you will need to make sure that it doesn’t go overboard. When you have a certain time to study, you will find that it becomes a lot easier to actually sit down at your desk and open the books you need to read for your classes.

Sometimes having a girlfriend can also get in the way of doing well in school. Of course every guy wants to spend time with their girlfriend and get laid, but once again it’s crucial that you limit your time with her and spend at least a couple hours each day on studying and homework. After a while you will get the hang of how to do this and it won’t seem like such a difficult thing to do.
